Problems become projects.

Boy once again if it's not one thing it's another. Right as we are finally finishing up the bathroom ceiling the dishwasher goes out! As long as I have lived here (since 1990) we have had a portable dishwasher that you have to wheel over and attatch to the sink to run it. I never really thought about it because that is just how it was but T.J. has hated it from day one. Therfore, when the dishwasher went out we could not just replace it with another portable we have to tear out cupboards and install a built in one. We started that project last night. (Bathroom ceiling still not totally complete.) And then, because it was Mother's Day I spent most of it laying in bed when all of the sudden I sat up and my butt was wet. Our lovely waterbed has a leak!! so now not only do I have pots and pans and cereal lying all over my house I have wet towells, dry towells, sheets and bedspreads. On top of all that I am dieting and doing really well but man with all the stress I sure want to eat and eat and eat and because I can't I am not the most pleasant woman to be around. So to sum up our projects going on right now: T.J. is siding the workshop, Bathroom ceiling has been installed but is waiting for T.J. to install the trim so AdriAnne can paint it, Cupboards have been torn out in anticipation for dishwasher installation in another week when the electrician friend can help, T.J. is also installing a garbage disposal just to do it at the same time as the dishwasher (why not?), Need to figure out where all the stuff that went in the cupboards that T.J. tore out will go, and Hole in waterbed prevents AdriAnne and T.J. from having a place to sleep. Oh yah and no matter how many times I do the dishes ( by hand) each day there are still more on the counter. AGHHHHHH! Enjoy the pics! Someday I sure hope I will be able to post the finished product pics.

T.J. says you can't smile when you are working.

  1. Wow you just made my life look great! lol j/k Brooks car doesn't have a/c if that helps...
I hope things get done soon also, I HATE washing dishes by hand. When our dishwasher went out and waited a couple months for a new one, it was paper everything! Because you're right no matter how often you wash, there will always be a cup or something b/c someone got thirsty. Ugh, feel your pain....
